摘要：
    本文首先回顾了企业评审工作的兴起和和质量体系审核的发展过程，介绍了第一方、第二方和第三方质量体系审核的关系、差别与它们局限性。进而介绍了企业评审工作发展的必然结果--自我评审的内涵和特点。并分析了基于20世纪八十年代发展起来的第一代和第二代TQM模型开展自我评审的局限，重点讨论了目前国际上正在兴起的基于第三代模型而开展的诊断性企业自我评审的理论和方法。最后结合我们开展过的自评工作，分析了当前中国企业开展自我评审的现状，提出在我国开展诊断性自评的战略建议。

Study on the Development of Enterprise Assessment
and the Method of Diagnostic Self-Assessment

Abstract:
    Firstly, it reviews the spring up of enterprise assessment and the development process of quality system audit, and introduces the relationship and differences between the first-party, second-party and third-party quality system audit, and their limitation. Then it introduces the connotation and characteristics of self-assessment, which is the necessary result of the development of enterprise assessment work; and analyzes the limitation of self-assessment based on the models of first generation TQM and second generation TQM, which had been developed in 1980s. It puts emphasis on the discussion of theory and method of diagnostic self-assessment based on the model of third generation TQM, which is developed in recent years in the world. Finally, it analyzes the statue-quo of self-assessment in Chinese enterprises in the combination with the assessment work the authors have made in last decade in Shanghai enterprises, and puts forward strategic suggestions for carrying out diagnostic self-assessment in Chinese enterprises.
